Product Description

The Calca series is used for treatment of specific conditions, such as:

- Plantar fasciitis and pressure relief of calcaneal spurs
- Long term follow up after calcaneal fractures
- Overuse symptoms such as with osteoporotic conditions
- Neurogenic related conditions
- Achilles tendon strain

Available in:

- EU Sizes 35 - 48
- Full Length or 3/4 Length

The CALCA PRO X achieves optimized relief of the plantar fascia. A moulded groove extends far into the longitudinal foot arch taking the load and mechanical stress away from the painful area of the sole of the foot. The well balanced arch support perfectly redistributes forces to reduce the patients’ level of pain. The durable polyurethane cushion material absorbs impact forces and contributes to pressure redistribution under the hindfoot.

Perfect Orthotics Verified Purchase

My third purchase of these orthotics from de Novo. Originally recommended and supplied by an NHS physiotherapist I now have them in all my shoes

Super confortable

Have worn these for a 4 day hike finishing the offas dyke trail. Really comfortable , very pleased with calca pro x. The support and advice from this company is excellent. Ive actually bought some for my son aswell who in a teenage grunting kind of way is also happy with them..

Not what I expected

I was advised by my local hospital to contact Denovohealth care to obtain some replacement inserts. The hospital had originally supplied them free of charge but now say I need to buy them. When they arrived they didn’t have the heel which had been on the original ones. When I contact the company I was advised I would need to pay a further fourty odd pounds to have the heels put on and would have to pay for the postage to send them back.

I am not at all happy with the service this company is providing particularly since my foot health is at risk

Denovohealth are not at all interested in customer satisfaction only interested in money

Thank you for your review and we are sorry to hear that you are not happy. Please be aware that you received your first pair from an NHS hospital which is why they are supplied at no cost to you as they were funded by the NHS. For a second pair purchased privately, we are unable to provide these free of charge as there is a cost associated with manufacturing these and we are not funded by the NHS for private orders. With regard to the heel post units, this is an additional bespoke add-on for £24.90 which does not come as standard and needs to be prescribed, modified and fitted individually where requested. Unfortunately we had no prior knowledge of your previous pair when you ordered your replacement so we were unable to add these at the time of manufacture.

Not worth the price

These are expensive and take ages to arrive as it appears they're drop-shipped from China or something. Having tried other, far cheaper orthotic insoles (less than half the price in most cases) before being recommended these by the NHS I was expecting something pretty special, however they appear to just be the same basic product as you can buy elsewhere for a third of the price.

All our products are semi bespoke or fully bespoke therefore done as and when they are ordered rather than simply off the shelf product, in this case the inlays we sell are made in the UK with components from Germany and not in any way shipped from China. If you are not happy with the product and have not worn it at all please return it and we will provide you with a refund, however we would highly recommend you contact your orthotist with your concerns as we might be able to adapt and modify the product to better suit your requirements. FAST DELIVERY: For all footwear delivery is in 12 to 14 working days from complete order, for all Insoles and Dynamic Walks delivery will take up to 7 working days. All our footwear, spinal braces and inlays with non-standard cover are custom made and/or made to order therefore they are not refundable or returnable. Customers Statuary Rights are not affected.
